Terms and Conditions
These terms govern your use of Propora (propora.co.za), a property management platform operated by ZA TechLabs, Cape Town, South Africa. By creating an account you agree to these terms.
1. The service
Propora provides software for managing rental properties, tenants, invoices, maintenance, documents and listings. Propora is a software provider. We do not hold, receive or manage rental funds on your behalf. Payments made by tenants are processed by the payment provider you connect, or paid directly into the bank account you specify.
2. Accounts
You are responsible for the accuracy of information you capture, for keeping your login details secure and for all activity under your account, including activity by team members, tenants and maintainers you invite.
3. Subscriptions and billing
Plans are billed monthly or yearly in South African Rand, in advance. Prices are shown on our website and may change with 30 days written notice. You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period. Fees already paid are not refundable except where required by the Consumer Protection Act.
4. Your data
You own the data you capture in Propora. You appoint us to process it on your behalf in order to provide the service, as set out in our Privacy Policy. You confirm that you have a lawful basis under POPIA to capture the personal information of your tenants, owners and contractors.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use Propora for unlawful purposes, to send unsolicited bulk messages, or to attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours.
6. Availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform scheduled maintenance, and will try to do so outside business hours.
7. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid in the three months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for losses caused by third party payment, SMS, email or e-signature providers.
8. Termination
We may suspend accounts that breach these terms or remain unpaid. On termination you may request an export of your data within 30 days, after which it may be deleted.
9. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
